Last week I followed the Weight Watcher's Freestyle plan. There were two days when I really went off the rails, but overall it was a success because I kept track and made more good decisions than bad decisions.
I started the week off on Monday at 173 pounds and ended it on Sunday at 171.3 pounds. That's a total loss of 1.7 pounds this week. Not bad. The Freestyle plan works even if you mess up. That's what that tells me.
But you may sense the hesitation, the "but" waiting in the wings. And it's this, and maybe only this: I hate relying on technology. Having to log on to my computer to add in my daily food was a daily stressor. I like technology and it makes my life easier. I just like to have some time away from it. I am a paper and pencil tracker all the way.
Even though the plan was successful, I'm doing the old Flex Points plan this week because I know it by heart. If I want to go on the Freestyle plan in the future I really need to get the book and a calculator. That would work so much better for me. I may do that this week. I may not. We shall see.
So for this week it's Flex Points. In another week and I may have changed my mind!
